Uma Sudhindra
Uma Sudhindra is an Organization Development consultant, a behavioral specialist, as well as facilitating the design and development of a HR Management System. Her background in Organization Development supports the core competencies she has - process design; human resource and leadership development; transaction analysis; body language; facilitation; lecturing and research.
Uma is a certified Dale Carnegie instructor and a certified practitioner of psychometric tools like MBTI and FIRO B. Uma is an accredited trainer in Process Work and in Group Process Facilitation and has extensive experience of over sixteen years in human resource management. She has followed these courses with diverse informal study in the fields of transaction analysis, NLP, body language, research in personality development and more recently on the role of emotions in an organization context.
Uma is also trained in the SEI People Capability Maturity Model process.
Considered a “fast tracker” through out her career, she has formulated and implemented several key talent management initiatives. She also played a leading role in designing and delivering executive management programs, as well as in the campus recruitment process in various organizations that she has worked with. A firm believer in developing skills and competencies, Uma has vast experience in the field of e-learning and virtual classroom training.
Prior to her business consulting career, she worked for fifteen years in various organizations. In her last corporate assignment she was Head – Global Learning for iGATE Global Solutions. In this role she was actively engaged in guiding the development of talent within the organization and was responsible for various learning initiatives – setting up of iGATE Virtual University and a higher education plan for employees being some of them.
Her stint with IT&T saw her setting up the entire training and quality teams for the BPO and she worked on developing a competency and skill matrix for the organization.
